I’ve been toying with the idea of creating a lookbook for the fashion brands I work with and when I ran the idea across Wei Ni of Peep Boutique, she helped me plan the photoshoot and coordinated the outfits, including shoot location and accessories.
Here are 7 outfits we came up with to take you through the week, featuring clothes from Peep Boutique and accessories from Mori Pin.
Look #1

Wearing Kendra Knit Shirt (in blue) and Petra Pencil Mini Skirt. Nude pumps from Aldo.
I can totally see myself in this outfit for those dreaded Mondays at the office. The knit top will keep me cosy in the air-conditioned space, while the pencil skirt keeps things sharp and put together. As I tend to be quite minimal with accessories, this necklace from Mori Pin does the trick. It’s one of my favourite pieces and I’ve used it many times. A classic really!
Look #2

Wearing Belted Over Maxi Dress (in blue)
This dress is versatile enough to take you from day to night. You can wear this with strappy heels or go with an edgier look by pairing the dress with black stiletto boots, which I did in the first picture.
Look #3

Wearing Marsha Long Sleeve Midi Dress
One can never have too many black dresses, or at least I like to think so. This little number is mid-length so I find it ideal to wear to the office. I also like that it elongates the silhouette so I look taller than I really am. As for accessories, a simple piece from Mori Pin is all I needed to complete the look. Like the Belted Over Maxi Dress, you can opt to wear this with feminine heels or rock it with stiletto boots. I’m still very much into these boots so I’m going to be wearing them for a while. Hahaha!
Look #4
One of my favourite combinations to date, I like how the sneakers add character to the look. The slit is nicely positioned at the side so you don’t show more than you should. Never thought this dressy necklace would go well with the silver sneakers, but it works!
Look #5

Savannah Shirt Dress (in grey)
Another versatile piece from Peep Boutique, you can wear the shirt dress as it is, or use to to layer over your dress or jeans. It’s great for travels as it keeps you stylish while remaining as comfortable as possible.
Look #6
Currently my favourite romper from Peep Boutique, this has a tuxedo collar that gives it a structured feel. Love the leaf print and colour as it keeps the look casual, plus it’s good for those with a longer torso like myself.
Look #7

Full Prints Ahead Dress with Puma sneaker wedges and a sun hat
Sometimes, a simple hat can really make a difference in an outfit. I don’t own many hats but this one is my favourite. It goes well with t-shirt and jeans, and even a pretty dress like this. I didn’t want to come off overly girly so I wore it with my Puma sneaker wedges instead.
So there you have it — 7 #OOTDs For The Week! Hope this helps plan your wardrobe and keeps you in style.
