Sometime in late 2010, I created the Bangsar Babe® Facebook Page with a humble start of 250 fans – most of them, my personal friends. Over the years, the fan base increased and the Bangsar Babe® brand grew as a result of that. It’s been more than 5 years since I started and today, the Bangsar Babe® Page is approaching half a million fans as of today.
Other pages may have a million fans or more, but hitting the 500,000 mark means a great deal to me. I’m so grateful to all of you who supported me, who criticised constructively so I can improve and for being there through my ups and downs. You all rock! 
This milestone is also proof in the pudding that hard work gets you somewhere. Many a times I was tempted to go down the route other influencers take – buy their fans and engagement. But I stuck to my grounds and worked harder instead, so that one day, the seeds I sow would bear fruits.
To mark this special occasion, I’m going to give away something that’s also very prized to me – one signed bottle of Haig Club by none other than the man himself, David Beckham. I’ll be looking through my fan database to pick a loyal reader, so check your PM box to see if Lady Luck is on your side.
